Come out for an evening of food and icebreaker activities as we connect with one another and build up community. 

With Thxgiving coming up around the corner and with lots of new comers to our group. Lets have a mingler potluck dinner. 

Thanksgiving is traditionally a time where communities and neighbours bring food and celebrate things they're thankful for: a job, a place to live, being in Canada, freedom and most importantly great family, friends and community. Let's gather together around food and get to know others in the BBT community over dinner and fun games.

We got ourselves a fancy rental hall and turkey ordered for everyone. You guys bring a dish to share (for 6+ people)! Please specify at your RSVP or post on discussion so there won't be 50 ppl bringing desserts.

7:00PM-8:00PM- Dinner
8:00PM-9:00PM- icebreaker + activities by BC Toastmasters
9:00PM-10:00OM- Mingling 
10:00PM- clean up 

cost- 
<b style="font-size : 16px">$15 at the door  (no credit card)  
Those who are not bringing a dish may have to chip in for additional catering we will be ordering to ensure eveyrone has enough to eat (~$5 a person)

Cost will go toward facilities & equipment rental + Entertainment + games + Turkey (obviously) and there will also be a raffle to support the BBT team at the Light the Night leukemia walk. 

Food:

The Bubble Tea Team will get a Turkey, sushi, drinks*  and utensils.

Everyone is ENCOURAGED to bring a dish (home made or take out). In order for this to work out for everyone, we encourage you all to step up and bring some food to share. Some people are putting in effort in making homemade food, please don't ruin the vibe by bringing merely pop or a bag of chips. (If everyone is bringing only chips and pop, we'll be having a lame Mr Bean Party. )

Please specify the dish you're bringing in the RSVP AND post on the discussion so there wont be overlap. If your dish is a home made dish, you will be entered into the food contest where we will have a vote at the end of the day for the grand prize!

Main Program/Entertainment:

BC Toastmasters will be providing entertainment with motivational speaker John Beck. 

Contest:

We will have a couple judges who will vote on the best dish of the night based on deliciousness and unique/exoticness.

Raffle & Benefit:

We will be having a raffle to support the BBT team at the Light the Night walk with Leukaemia Society. 

Tickets are $20 for 3. Prizes include Leukaemia Foundation Swags and also entry to the national raffle. Come out saturday 18th to support our team.

*This is a non alcoholic event as our rental agreement prohibits any alcohol. We can always go to a pub afterwards.
