I've never been here myself but this place was recommended by a few people at the dim sum event at Cindy's Place Restaurant.

Located at the corner of Clark & Kingsway is Cedar Cottage Neighbourhood Pub, named after the Cedar Cottage Brewery that used to be there back in 1902. There’s a liquor store on the left side and a cafe on the right. Stairs lead down to the actual pub.
