SPEAKER BIO

George Verdolaga is a serial entrepreneur, author and one of the top networking coaches in Vancouver. He helps people find jobs, grow their businesses, form lasting ties primarily by networking.

George was mercilessly teased and harassed during his teens and finished high school with only a few close friends. During his University years, George was the person that most people didn’t pay much attention to, as he was socially awkward and prone to saying the wrong things. Once George started working, he discovered that he was a painfully self-conscious and boring public speaker that would put audiences to sleep. A few years after moving to Vancouver, George went into business for himself. To get clients quickly, George joined – and eventually became the leader – of several business networking groups. This helped him to become more confident and more polished in various types of social situations. After learning how to overcome his fear of public speaking and how to properly develop strong connections, George shares the lessons he’s learned about how to network more effectively so that you can be known, liked and trusted and build lasting personal and business relationships.

LOGISTICS

Doors will open at 6:00pm. Networking takes place from 6:00pm to 6:30pm. The presentation itself runs from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. More networking will happen from 7:30 pm to 8:00pm.
