As an astronomy group it doesn't make sense to let nights like this go away without some serious stargazing. We checked this place out last time. It's pretty near, less than an hour from Berlin, and it's really dark. The moon is out but it sets at midnight, so we can have both the moon and a relatively dark sky a couple of hours later!
