BAM stands for Berlin Astronomy Meetup and ATT stands for Astronomischer Tausch und Trödelltreff, that I have no idea what it means, but I know it's the biggest Astronomy fair in Europe!

Are you on the look for that new telescope or accessory? Or do you want to mess around with other astronerds? Then you should totally come.

Essen is not around the corner though. It is a 4 hour ride by train from Berlin and given that the gates open at 10am, we have 2 options:
- we go there the evening before and we rent a super cheap hostel
- we catch the train in zombie mode at 6am or earlier and we sleep on the comfortable seats of an ICE.

I am up for both, there is nothing organized yet (but we are machines at organizing things, aren't we). The only sure thing I know is that I'm going and hope not to do the trip all alone :p
