Hello stargazers! Here we are... our first serious attempt to an observation night all together.

First, let me update you about our informal meeting in Mitte last week. We were 3 persons and we discussed a little bit what would be cool to do in this group. We thought that it would be super cool to check the star park in Havelland SOON...

So, how about next weekend? :) It's new moon!

I announce this meetup but please notice that RSVP-ing to this meetup is only a manifestation of interest for the event! The meetup will not be confirmed until Thursday or Friday, because bad weather is always around the corner!

It would be great if you could tell wether you are interested or not, what instrument you want to bring with you and if you have a car. If we know in advance how many we are and how many vehicles we have, we can plan everything smoothly, or rent some cheap Robben&Wientjes car. I will do it, as soon as we have a reasonable number of RSVPs.

You can find more information about the place here http://www.lugv.brandenburg.de/cms/detail.php/bb1.c.355482.de

I have 3 goals for the night:

- try my new barlow lens

- make some experiment with webcam photography on Jupiter

- most importantly, get to know as many of you as possible and share the telescopes and the stars with you

All right! Enough talking, let's get things rolling. Please RSVP if seriously interested and we'll organize a nice stargazing night!

All the best,

Corrado

ps. Sorry to stress this out once more, but the meetup will only be confirmed 1/2 days before, when we'll have strong forecasts.
