Ashara Care is a humanitarian group made up of local volunteers, dedicated to helping the needy and homeless.  We have been active for five years.  We are attempting to assemble food kits, hygiene kits, etc., and distribute them to the needy and hungry in Houston, Texas.  Our goal is to meet once a month, when possible.  Our next Meetup will be Sunday, May 25th, at 9:00 am. in downtown Houston. We will be distributing hygiene kits to the homeless. Each kit will contain a razor blade, a toothbrush, a tube of toothpaste, a bar of soap, and a hand towel. In addition, if possible, I would like to add deodorant and mouthwash to the kits.  

We will need to meet to both assemble and distribute the hygiene kits. Or, you can just come out and donate your time and effort distributing. Volunteers will be setting up to assemble in downtown Houston at 9:00 am. and start distributing around 10:30 am or before.
