As the great writer Roald Dahl once said, "Life is more fun if you play games." With this in mind, we're happy to announce a brand new AmsterdamPHP event: Geeks & Games!

Our Geeks and Drinks nights are already a gateway for many new members, considering the many boardgame enthusiasts among us, what better way to get to know your fellow members than sharing a hilarious game of Cards Against Humanity or stabbing them in the back playing Werewolves?

Our host is Cafe Batavia 1920, only a 5 minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station with an excellent beer collection (if games alone weren't enough to convince you). We've got some people bringing games but feel free to bring your own too.

Our main goal for this kickoff (besides having a great time) is to see how much interest there is for this new event. If you can't make it to the kickoff date but want to join in the future, leave a comment so we'll know whether to keep this going!

We are looking for sponsors to cover snacks and drinks, is your company interested?
