Hi! My name is Daniel 👋
I’m 29 years old, and this is my first post here. I decided to begin not with work terminology, charts, or complicated numbers, but with a simple introduction.
I grew up in a small and fairly quiet town. My father, Mark, worked as an engineer for many years, while my mother, Anna, taught foreign languages. I inherited my love of logic and desire to understand how things work from my father. My mother taught me never to forget that behind every number, metric, and decision, there are always real people.
As a child, I was the kind of boy who took apart old watches, fixed computers for relatives, and constantly asked questions. I enjoyed finding patterns, comparing results, and discovering the reasons behind things. Over time, that natural curiosity developed into a professional interest in analytics.
While studying, I worked part-time at a small marketing agency. At first, I handled simple tasks: collecting information, working with spreadsheets, and preparing reports. Gradually, however, I realized that what interested me most was not collecting data itself, but finding answers. Why does one project grow faster than another? What influences user behavior? How can you distinguish a random spike in performance from a genuine trend?
Today, I work with analytics in the digital entertainment and online platform industry. I research traffic, platform functionality, user experience, and market trends. My main principle is to explain complicated things in a simple way and base conclusions on facts rather than bold promises.
Work is an important part of my life, but it is not my entire life. I have a younger sister named Sofia, who works as a designer and regularly reminds me that not every problem can be solved with a spreadsheet. We often argue about it, although she is usually right 🙂
In my free time, I enjoy long walks, unhurried morning coffee, playing football with friends, and taking short trips. I especially like cities where you can get lost among old streets, accidentally discover a cozy café, and spend a few hours without rushing anywhere.
Here, I plan to share observations about digital platforms, analytics, technology, and changes in the online entertainment industry. Sometimes there will be professional insights, and sometimes personal thoughts and ordinary moments from everyday life.
I’ll be happy to connect. Tell me in the comments what you do and what brought you to my page.
