About

[0x616533302F30312F3032] - The Meet

Summer break is behind us, and September means it's time to get things moving again. We hope you've recharged your batteries, because we've cooked up a fresh agenda to get those gears turning and kick off the final stretch of the year.

To start things off, Diogo Almeida (@NeWbie) will take us down the IoT rabbit hole, showing what really happens when you stop trusting the box and start taking devices apart. From hardware enumeration and firmware dumping to reverse engineering, glitching, and more, he'll walk us through hands-on security assessments of real-world security cameras, including the tricks, failed attempts, and vulnerabilities uncovered along the way.

Next up, let's head down the rabbit hole and dig into the guts of our Summer Challenge! We'll go through the different challenges, break down the intended solutions, and reveal all the dirty tricks we cooked up for this year's edition. Whether you caught all the flags or got stuck along the way, come see what was hiding behind the scenes!

We already have a few master solvers, but the challenge is far from over! There's still plenty of time to grab those juicy flags and climb the leaderboard. Think you've got what it takes? Get hacking and claim your spot before it's too late!

Just a friendly reminder, this is an in-person event. Before RSVPing, please double-check that you can attend and be there in person. Good logistics rely on it! And a quick note regarding venue rules, please be mindful when taking photos and avoid capturing the company space, screens, and staff.

In the meantime, you can join our Slack chat to discuss all kinds of hackish stuff and, of course, interact with other members.

Don't miss out. Your FOMO will be justified if you are looking to level up your security game.

[Goals]

Learn something new, get to know other g33ks, and, the most important thing, have fun.
