Our monthly meetup, with talks and drinks!

You're welcome from 7.30 PM, after which we'll start around 8PM with our program, which will contain the talk:

Design Patterns Illustrated

010php member Herman Peeren will dive into those better and lesser known design patterns to get you up to speed on them:

"A crash course in Design Patterns: recipes to solve common problems in Object Oriented Programming. The essence of all 23 "classical" Gang of Four patterns will be explained by using unique simple drawings. I will also show some code examples in PHP. My starting point is very practical: which problems are solved by those patterns? Some actual discussions will be mentioned briefly, to keep it fun for both beginners and advanced developers. We'll try to do all of this within an hour."

We will also reveal our new logo (oh yes!) at the meetup and talk a bit about a redesign of our currently not very exciting website.

See you then? Yes I did think so!
