About GDPR

After the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) went into effect on May 25, 2018, we have made some changes on our platform accordingly.  As Kommunity, we always  prioritize our members’ privacy and data security.

Kommunity's privacy and data protection:

Since privacy is an important issue for most internet users, we've recently decided to offer our users private profiles and private kommunities.

- If your profile visibility is private, that means your information and activity are only visible to members who follow you.

- If your kommunity's content visibility is private, that means the content is only visible to members who are confirmed by the kommunity organizer.

Why we store your data and how we use it?

As we mention in our Data Policy "We only ask for personal information when we truly need it to provide a service to you. We collect it by fair and lawful means, with your knowledge and consent. We also let you know why we’re collecting it and how it will be used."

- We never share any information with a third party without your knowledge. We only do it when it's requested by you, in order to provide a specific service.

- We don’t share any personally identifying information publicly or with any third parties without your request or consent, except when required to by law.

Kommunity is always transparent about stored data since it's a critical issue for our members. We assure you to be always attentive to this subject and never abuse our members' trust.
